Don't know about that. Being at the top of your high school class is a very big deal.

If you ship a package to your dorm room address, will it be in your room when you move in, or do you have to pick it up somewhere else first? (Assuming it arrives after August 13th.)

AEM Transfer Chances?

3.61 at Pace University,
Transferring to a CC listed on Cornell's website,
and I will have ALL required and recommended courses
(i.e. full year of bio, chem, stats, writing x2, public speaking, etc..)

-Investment Banking and Private Equity Internship, Equity Research Team Competition sponsered by CFA, Training the street and Wall street prep courses

-Looking to transfer in for my Junior year, CALS (AEM)

What are your opinions on my chances?

Also if I had to choose recomendations to ask for and send:
a) Valuation of a Firm Professor
b)Principles of Investment Professor
c) Banker at my internship who received MBA from Johnson School of Business (Dont think its connected to AEM)
d) Precvious Partner of Private Equity Fund
e) All of the above

Hey guys, what do you think my chances are?

GPA: 4.2 weighted, 3.9 uw
SAT: 2330 one sitting (750 CR, 780 M, 800 W)
SAT IIs: Chem 700, Math II 800, Lit 720, US History 750
ACT: 34
APs: APUSH (4), Comp Sci (5), Eng Lang (5)
Ranking: school doesn't rank but for sure in top 10% (very competitive public school)
Senior year courses: AP Eng Lit, AP Calc BC, AP Physics B, AP Chem, AP Psych, AP Art History (expecting 1 or 2 Bs)
ECs: nothing too special..
2 sports for 3 years each (varsity captain senior year, jv/fs captain for 2 years),
board member on club against human trafficking
various volunteering experiences, nothing unique or prolonged - library, animal shelter, united way, church

My parents went through a messy divorce while I was in high school (covered in essay) and my household income is very low

I want to major probably in civil engineering, possibly in computer science. I'm a girl, does that help significantly?

Cornell is my dream school, I'd really appreciate your feedback. thanks

Hi, I'm interested in applying to Cornell's SHA (I'm not a senior, so I still have some time), but I was wondering how heavily do they look for work experience in the hospitality industry. My entire family is involved in the industry, and that's what has inspired me to think about applying. I know there is still time to get work experience, but I am just wondering. Thanks!
