Anyways what I like about Cornell that some of the other ivies lack is this competitive mentality that is associated with Cornell students.
At schools like Brown, for example, you can take everything pass or fail i believe there's no requirements other than your major requirements and this English exam. I just get this vibe that there's this noncompetitive attitude, where everyone wins while doing the least amount of work. Another example is how everyone who works for the Harvard Crimson is an "editor." This is not the case for the the Cornell Sun. I haven't been to the other schools but I would think that Cornell is more down to earth compared to the other schools, especially after you take your first prelim and realize how well you did relative to others in the class. You'd be surprised that half of the class did below average.
The work ethic that you develop at Cornell imo will really help you in the future.
