Information about Jameson Hall? I just got in.

Hey, I just checked my housing contract and I am in a Double Room in Jameson Hall (Room number begins with 15).

Can someone give me some information about Jameson Hall? Is it on West Campus? How is the social life? Am I in a suite (website doesnt tell me)?

Thanks a lot!

You're on the 5th floor in a suite on north campus (all freshmen are on north campus).

its on North Campus? I'm an incoming sophomore Guaranteed Transfer, and I applied with another guy for West Campus.

At least they didnt put us in Hasborough....but the Freshman thing...I guess that's worse than Hasborough for transfers? Are there ANY upper-classmen then?

and by the way, how do I find out if my roommate is the kid I requested to be with? I don't see any names on the page.

The only upperclassmen will be RA's. That sucks man. You probably would have been better off with other transfers in the Hasbrouck Apartments. Normally it should tell you who your roommate is on the housing contract. Ask your friend where he got placed. He should have gotten something if you did.

I would suggest that you call up housing and tell them to take you out of the freshman dorm. Tell them to place you in either Hasbrock or wherever the transfers are located on West Campus. They'll fix it if you call them.

haha they can’t place upperclassmen in “freshmen only” dorms lol it’s just a mistake of some sort! Call that Sandra lady and tell her you have already picked your roommate, they’ll fix it for sure!!!

i dont know if its a mistake...there were some transfers living with us at the beginning of the year...

jameson is one of the uglier north campus dorms (i lived in high rise 5 which is the sister dorm of jameson)

i wonder if cornell is overbooking this year too...last year people were living in the lounges...
