I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to offend you, I apologize sincerely if I did though. I meant to say that more jokingly than it came off as. It is during times like these where I wish I was a better writer, because I lack the ability to manipulate the tone when writing so briefly. Again, I really do apologize, and thank you for helping me with the chances too, I really do appreciate it.

No, no, you didn't offend me! I was just lightheartedly teasing you a little bit =P

hmmm... I'd say that your only weak part of your app (assuming decent essays & recs) is your SATs. It'd been awesome if you scored 2100 +, but well, you can't have everything in life -_-. However, since you seem to be a pretty good tennis player, that MIGHT make it up.

^Unfortunately, I don't plan on playing college tennis though, simply because I've really lost the love for the game over the past few years. I'm kind of just sick of tennis, sometimes I don't even want to play recreationally, nonetheless competitively. I think the reason is because my dad always pushed me to play tennis, and so I always played it to please him.

More opinions are certainly welcomed and very much wanted. I know none of you can give me an exact answer, but whatever your opinions are would be most helpful to me.

hey our SAT scores are quite similar (1420/1600), and your SAT IIs are simply great. Present yourself well in your essay and i'd say you've got a good chance.

Thanks art_star. Good luck to you if you're applying here as well.

And what the heck are you talking about "grantortue?" You're creeping me out.

^And you still haven't "chanced" me. Where are the manners these days. Only joking, but I'll call it even if you chance me, and probably even if you don't since I'm too nice to hold a grudge, but still, chance me darn it!

the SAT's aren't that depressing at all... you'll be fine at CALS, not sure where you're applying though within cornell. as long as those essays show who you are, you have a strong chance

Oh, sorry, I stated at a later post that I am applying to the College of Arts and Sciences. I think this is the more competitive, so I'll have less a shot there than at CALS, but thank you very much for your opinion, even though I feel you're bit too nice to put me down. I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, if you live in the U.S. of course.

u have amazing ECs. You would have been admitted for sure if u applied ED but u should still have about 70-80% chance at RD to CAS. Thats just my opinion. But I think, you should retake the SATs or ACTs just to improve ur chances. Also, what major are u applying for ? You would increase ur chances even more if applied to CALS...I did ED to Human ec and I basically used my interest in research as my "hook" as well
