| ILR GT 1.5 years with a B- I got a B- in a 1 credit lab course that is outside the ILR requirements. It is a shame really, since the science lab courses at my LAC have a 10 question test worth 40% of your grade.
Will that cause problems for the ILR grade requirement even though my gpa is well over a 3.3? I believe the ILR requirement is no grades lower than a B.
What does everyone recommend I do? I am really dedicated to Cornell and am even studying their this summer to get ahead on my ILR reqs. |

| I got a B- in some music course and they accepted my guarantee anyways... I don't think it really matters since it's a science lab, and it's just a B MINUS. You'll be fine, I think, just try sending some kind of explanation. |

| what was the lab for? was there a lecture associated with it? If you got, let's say an A in the lecture that went with the lab then maybe you could argue that its like you got a B+ or A- in the class as a whole. But I doubt that a 1 credit B- is going to be a problem. |

| Other grades got released - heres the scoop.
I got a 3.3, but I ended up getting a B- in the General Chemistry II lecture course as well. In every ILR related course I've taken (Macroeconomics, 2 Frosh Seminars), I've gotten an A.
I called the ILR office (Ian was busy), and the Kathy kept stressing that I shouldn't worry about it and just email Ian. I emailed him, but I am still worried I guess.
Are there any other cases of people who have gotten a single B- and still gotten in? |
