I misspelled a word on CORNELL supplement essay!!! help.....

Instead of "allows" I put "allow" and I just realized it. Is not it terrible? will they pay a lot of attention to it? uhhhhh... anyone with similar experiences. I feel really bad about it.

Spelling is more important than the SAT and GPA combined.

Consider yourself auto-rejected.

Yes. It is probably the worst thing in the world ever. I'd rather get an 800 out of 2400 on my SAT then misspell one word.

... You guys are funny... Calm down.

I spelled "sun screen" as "sun scream" on my application and I didn't get rejected. Chillax!

You can reassure him all you want Yoda but it's true, a misspelling, especially at an ivy, means carelessness and lack of concern.
