If I received my netID, that means they've received my acceptance, right?

I'm starting to get worried since I never got a Cornell Bound packet or any confirmation that Cornell has accepted my statement of intent to register. If they sent me my netID/account for @cornell.edu, that means they've received it, right?

I haven't received a netid or anything, and sent in my deposit over a week ago. Should it take this long?

I sent in my deposit on last Monday, and they received it on last Thursday, and I got my net ID yesterday : )

He might have sent it via certified mail.

Just for future reference (especially when applying for internships/jobs/grad school)...it's a good idea to at least send your mail certified. You'll get a tracking number and can follow your mail from origin to destination. If you're really paranoid, you can send your mail certified with a signature return receipt. You can track your mail and you'll receive confirmation that somebody signed for it.
