swimming at cornell?

how is the intramural sports at Cornell?? particularly swimming?
also, if any of you know, how fast must one be to join the team? it is year round, right?

i don't mind the time commitment, but i am not in shape right now to join the team, although i would love to in the future

Cornell doesn't have an intramural swim team. Are you referring to the varsity team? If so, they are actually quite good. Most of the team members are recruited, but I'm sure you could talk to the coach about joining later.
