My dad both went to Cornell, and taught there. He was a professor for about 8-10 years.
I'm wondering his previous position as a professor would be a good thing to slide into my application, and if so, how should I? I don't want to come off as desperate for acceptance, but I figure every little bit helps
Doesn't the Cornell supplement ask if you have parent alums or family faculty members? I'm sure you can include it in that section; it certainly sounds like it could help you a lot!
What do you mean? So you're going to put it in the "Do you have parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents who attended Cornell?" section? Are you going to make a note in the "degree" section that he taught there?
