Chance a good ol' southerner for Cornell CAS ED

City: Memphis, TN
GPA: 4.0 unweighted
ACT: 33 composite (would have had a 35 if I had I not bombed the science section)
SAT II's: Haven't taken them yet, (will take them in November)
Class Rank: 8 in a class of 500
Rigor of schedule: I will graduate with 4 AP classes and 5 honors classes (schedule rigor= my main weakness)

Extracurriculars: I don't have a large amount of extracurriculars, but I am an advanced classical pianist and have been playing for about 10 years now. I practice about two hours a day and have won several competitions. I also have performed two concerts with professional orchestras accompanying me?
I have also co-founded an investment club at my school senior year and am currently a "co-chairman."

So, what are my chances for Cornell early decision for CAS (given my teacher recs/essays are average)? I want to go to Cornell SO BADLY!!

by the way, I forgot to add: I'm white (I understand that race is a significant factor in admissions).

give a little more details about your ECs. What concerts have you performed at? what do people do in the investment club? etc..

scores and GPA are pretty good. did you take SAT 1?
