Can you guys give your opinions?

Hi! i'm applying to Cornell and I want to hear your opinion about my profile.

I have almost perfect unweighted GPA, even though my weighted GPA might be low compared to other smart people. Because I moved to the U.S. for the first time when I was 10th grade and at that time, I couldn't take any advace class. Then.. from 11th grade I have taken several AP classes. (So I've been living in the U.S for two years)

And I do lots of extra activities.

I'm the concertmaster of the orchestra, president of math club, school accompanist of chorus, and yearbook staff.

Also I'm violinist at the Florida Youth Orchestra. (it's the orchestra that is outside of school) I volunteer at the nursing home for old people.... and so on...

But here's a problem.
My SAT subject scores are good and my math SAT1 score is perfect as well.

But my SAT CR score is very low. I'm so depressed..

So this is my situation.
Do you guys think I have chance to get in to Cornell?

From what I've read, you have a chance, but you need to make yourself stand out from the rest. Find a way to tell them about one of your activities that's really unique. Schools like Cornell have a lot of really smart people who apply. You need to be the smart one who has something extra special as a bonus. Even with the SAT CR score, it might put you in the 'accepted' stack.

Well..

Actually I was thinking about majoring in mathematics.
I won several times in the math competitions too. So I think it might give me some sort of benefits.

and of course! I love math ^^

it depends on how low your CR score is. If its below 600, then you won't have a chance. 600-650, maybe. 670+, probably won't hurt you at all
