hey guys! i'm applying ED for architecture as an international. everyone on here seems to be applying to CAS or some other large college.
i know AAP is the smallest one, but there must be a few other applicants on here! since our application is based mostly on the portfolio and interview i wanted to see how some other people were doing with it.
i know i'm going to be working on my portfolio until the LAST minute! it's so time-consuming b/c i'm only using a couple pieces from my art class. and my grades are definitely not up to par so everything else needs to be amazing. this is so STRESSFUL.
there are definitely plenty of people applying to AAP early. its just that no one is on CC, or like you said, it is the smallest college so "less" apply. at least a couple hundred, or close to a thousand, apply for architecture with 60 spots. but dont get discouraged, keep your hopes up! work hard on your portfolio! it is possible to get in early to architecture
And I definitely feel the same way about portfolio. my grades make me very sad. hahaha
I'm working last minute as well. I've been taking art classes for a few months now, so its not that I don't have enough pieces, but I don't think you can ever reach a "complete" portfolio. There's a post office in my area that closes at 9 PM... I plan to make full use of that. :P
