Honestly I don't expect much with my stats.
But considering that my essays are average, what are my chances of getting in?

If you are considered as a domestic student (which I think you are), then you have a decent chance.

The only thing holding you back is your SAT I score.

Make sure your essays are stellar and really drive home why CORNELL has the resources you will use to make your education unique.

Above avg. chance. Get SAT score up. Strong essays should definitely help.
