Acceptance conditional?

So I heard that some acceptances are conditional and others or not.

But are there conditional acceptances for ED? I don't see how ED conditional acceptances are possible because the applicant has to withdraw all other applications.

By the way, I'm an international applicant, though I'm not sure if this affects whether acceptances are conditional or not.

As far as I know, acceptance isn't conditional in the way that many British universities are. But if you do exceptionally poorly in school after being accepted, there is a risk of being rescinded.

If you apply ED and they are thinking of accepting you conditionally, they would likely defer your application to RD.
