outside rec. letter?

If I just received an outside rec. letter from a very useful source, do I still have a chance to mail it in considering I applied ED to the hotel school?

-If so do I send it to admissions just under my name or how do I mark it?

I'm sure they'll accept the letter, it's barely past the deadline for applications.

As for getting it to them, I don't know any specifics but I would send it directly to Hotel School admissions. Put your Common App ID number on it as well as your name, school, etc.

last year we kinda figured out that as long as you get ONE part at least in for the deadline, you will have a file created and then cornell will just bother you for the rest of the parts. so as long as you have one part sent in, probably the common app + supplement, the other parts (recs, transcripts, scores etc.) can lag behind. just dont wait too long. they will let you know what you are missing.

also don't take advantage of this leniency. don't stress if you can't get something in right on the deadline, but don't just put it off for months
