University of Michigan - Summer Dance Program

Hi,
my sister (she is a high school freshman) just got accepted into the University of Michigan Summer Dance Intensive program, as well as the Interlochen Summer Dance program.

her ultimate goal is to attend UMich or NYU as a double major in dance and communications/busines, as so i was wondering how reputable the SUMMER DANCE program at UMich is. She is very excited that she got accepted, but i just want to make sure it is worth her money.

thanks

I would do Interlochen. More prestigous. Better on her resume. I know its pricey. Good luck

anybody else with an input?

interlochen is SUPER pricy compared to michigan, and it's only a week longer.

thank you!

i go to UM, interlochen would probably have a larger emphasis on ballet, but i know our summer program introduces things like dance composition, ballet, modern, and repertory work.
