so many of us have gotten in to many of our top list schools...
now the hard part is deciding where to go. this has to be the hardest decision of my life...
does anybody have any input as far as dartmouth v. stanford??
I talked to a human biology grad from Stanford, and he said his intro science classes were around 200. Have fun with that. He was a pre-med. Dartmouth has significantly lower class sizes.
photogirl tell us a bit more about your interests and what you're looking for in a college if you want us to be able to give you any advice about deciding between the two schools.
i'd suggest you ignore the part about rankings/prestige and really go to whichever school fits YOU better. think about going to a school for 4 years with miserable dread.
Well, I'm a Dartmouth 13. One of my best friends is heading to Stanford next year--and in comparing the two--Stanford is really the better school. I love Dartmouth, and I personally woudn't choose anywhere else, but its really about how you feel about the school. Stanford is technically better--but go with your gut.
it depends on what you want to do. For finance and consulting, dartmouth is one of the best. But for grad school and anything not related to business, stanford undergrad is the better choice. But also, fit is probably most important.
for example, stanford has one of the largest campuses among u.s. colleges, and its focus is not necessarily on undergrads or liberal arts education. like everyone says, go with what fits you... or where you fit in.
