| Any news from the waitlists?
I'm waitlisted for Dartmouth and UPenn and I'm wondering if anyone has received any info on those schools. My mind is already set for NYU but would change it in a minute for a chance at those schools.

I'm on Dartmouth's (possible) waitlist. Everything they send me keeps indicating that there either going to have a very small waitlist draw this year or they simply will not have anyone from off the waitlist.

If anyone would like my stats feel free to message me, I'm too lazy to post them on a page right now. I was accepted and now plan to attend.

Haha sorry I just got around to reading this thread again. My basic stats are as follows
GPA: 3.76 UW and 3.89 W(NOTE: my schools weighting system reeks of deflation, not because they meant it to be that way, but because they didn't design it intelligently at all)
Course Load: Most Rigorous 7/10 AP's offered (others couldn't work into schedule), and the rest were honors classes.
ACT: 34
SAT II: 780,730
EC's:
NHS-- 2 years
Academic Team- 4 years varsity/ co-captain 2 year
Marching Band-- 4 years/ 3 years section leader (Instruments: Mellophone, Trumpet )
Concert Band-- 4 years/ 1 year section leader (Instruments: French Horn, Trumpet)
Regional Honor Band-- 3 years
4-State Honor Band-- 2 years
Youth Leadership- 1 year
Independent Research-- 2 years
Anthology Committee-- 2 years
Youth Group-- 4 years/ 4 years chairman of technical committee, 2 years member of missions budget committee
volunteer and the Humane Society
Part-time job-- 2 years
2 Summers spent abroad doing aid work (1 Germany, 1 Japan)
My essay was adapted from a memoir I have been working on for over a year, and discussed how experiencing a very different culture in Japan influenced and changed my perception of my own culture and self.
Teacher recs: very good. (I was able to read them)
Admission decision: Accepted
I think I covered about everything. Just ask if you have any more questions!
