should I apply?

I'm a rising senior from an urban public high school, and am deciding about applying to Dartmouth for class of 2016. My unweighted cumulative GPA is a 3.7, and I take almost exclusively IB courses. My ACT composite score was a 30. I also participate in clubs, and I am the varsity tennis captain and ASB vice president. My mom went to Dartmouth for undergrad, and so did my grandpa who also taught there. Any feedback is appreciated!

Your stats are on the low side for D. Legacy helps, but how much is unclear. Class rank, if your school ranks, will matter.

If you really want to go to D, applying ED will, I think, make legacy count.
