I got one. I'm excited. I think the letter means we have a very good chance of getting in, assuming no criminal misconduct or extreme decline in academic performance.

I am in the south and my high school has not sent out the first semester grades.

It doesn't mean you have a good chance of getting in, it means you ARE in. Assuming you don't have some major reversal, such as a criminal conviction, a suspension for academic dishonesty, or a handful of Ds.

Congratulations.

For those who haven't gotten one, most people who are accepted don't, so don't get too worried.

I got mine without a midyear report as well, lol. It reads "There is no question that when we make our final decisions at the end of March, you will be offered admission to the College."

Just out of curiosity, are you guys recruited athletes? URMs? Or just incredibly qualified?
