What sort of forensics/speech/debate do you do? What level do you compete at? Your numbers look good, but that's the one thing I see that might make you stand out from the crowd. Don;t suppose you've been to DDI or DDW?

Going to Nationals, doing well at State, and maximizing your NFL points are the most important factors in applying to college when your main EC is S&D. Going to Dartmouth Debate Institute is much less (if at all) important.

^ True. This was just another way of trying to ascertain if this is a policy debater. That said, having Ken on your side can't hurt. (I'm not implying he has a conflict of interest or anything like that; just that I would think he gets a better sense of the quality and potential of debaters he sees at Dartmouth than he can from tournaments throughout the year when he would have to spread himself kind of thin. That's my take. You don't have to agree, obviously.)

Would you mind giving us your state/region of the country? That could actually make a difference.

You're pretty much in, but unfortunately you're a male asian, which means that you will be reviewed more heavily. Make an extraordinary essay and you'll be in
