I'm from Florida and applying ED. Just had my interview today. The interviewer was extremely informative, and the interview went fifteen minutes over the allotted hour. I think I conveyed my strengths and interests and hopefully convinced the interviewer that I'm a good fit for the school. It wasn't nearly as nerve-racking as I would have thought, and best of luck to the rest of the hopefuls out there as you all continue in the application process.

Guys, the live Q & A session just ended for Dartmouth. They said they will submit materials after Nov. 1st if your community was affected by the hurricane; however, they encourage to submit something (supplement, ED agreement, etc.) so they know you're applying. But they understand the circumstances completely and are pushing the deadline if necessary.

Pallid, I have the same question. How did you have your interview? I live right next to NH and I haven't had an interview yet. :S Is it just first come first serve? If you submit your applications, you get contacted? I haven't submitted mine yet so that might be why.

@hypnosys: Median, meaning that there have been higher and lower! If you think you have a compelling application, you shouldn't worry about one figure. As Shel Silverstein said: "Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be."

Hey, has anyone else tried to check the status of their application online? Because whenever I try to the site tells me that they don't have their stuff together or something. Anyone else?

I got an email a few days ago saying:

"We are writing to inform you that the Dartmouth Student Information System will be unavailable due to a system upgrade starting today, November 2nd at 5 p.m. EST through Monday, November 5th at 8 a.m EST.

The "check the status of your application" link will be operational after 8 a.m. on Monday, November 5th.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sincere regards,

The Dartmouth Admissions Office"

maybe it is still having issues.

Btw I have the interview in a few hours... anybody have advice?? (especially on dress code??)
