Ok. IVY LEAGUE OPINIONS

Ok, this is going to go in all the ivy league colleges' discussion boards. In your opinion, which do you think (as objectively as possible) is the best Ivy? Which is the worst? And why?

This will be interesting.

I wouldn't broach this subject...it could get ugly.

It all depends...if you're talking best academic atmosphere for UNDERGRADUATES....then P-ton for sure.

But I think the mix of an excellent undergraduate focus and a smaller..more dedicated university atmosphere is what puts d-mout on top.

This is the worst question I've ever heard asked. Not only is an objective ranking of 8 schools in an athletic league impossible, it is also pointless. The "rank" of a school is not nearly as important as the fit. Making your college choice based on such ratings makes you a prestige whọre. For one person, Columbia might be the best fit for that person, whereas another totally opposite person could find that Dartmouth is the best fit.

Sparticus800 from the Cornell board says:

"Dartmouth is the worst because it has a body part in its name."

Very intelligent-sounding. Those crazy Cornellians...

You can't take part of a post that addresses every one of the ivies in a negative way and just post the part that you believe will cause a fight.
the ACTUAL post (Ok. IVY LEAGUE OPINIONS):

Columbia is the worst because its named after a drug trafficking nation

i'm too lazy to do the rest

theres not a worst ivy either, the same rules for no best ivy apply just as much

Hahahahaha, yeah jetmaster guess you're the only one here thats not anal. You kids seriously need to calm down, you're all ready to call up the moderator from his midnight snack. Learn to take a joke (some people are getting kinda cranky before decision day). Yes yes yes, we all know that this is a lame thread, because Dartmouth rules all. But seriously now...Stanford owns Dartmouth. And any other Ivy. =D

Stanford 09'.

Since when is it "anal" to not want to engage in some anal-self-stoking-game of "my school's better than your school"?
