Can some one lend some aid?

This may be trivial, and I know that I want someone to tell me that I can still do it, but I am just bit upset seeing the SATs just recently come out.

Is it possible, or even probable, to get into Dartmouth with a 2120?

760 Writing (12 essay)
690 Critical Reaing
670 Math

The writing is near the top, the critical reading is almost near the middle, and the math is, when, scraping the bottom of the 25-75 area.

My grades are pretty good. I am 6th in grade out of 188, 3rd without Middle Schools grades. I have great ECs and even better essays. However, the 2120 seems like a big dent in my application. Someone said that it will never "make or break" you, but, I have been on this site for a while, and I have noticed a correaltion, which does not prove causation, between the accepance and SAT scores.

Please, just a few words is all I want. I hope I did not come off insulting to anyone, or even very pitiful. I just applied Dartmouth ED and was wondering if there is still a chance.

If you are really from Antarctica, there is a chance. I would have to think they get few applicants from there and may like the diversity. If you were applying from a well represented place, there would be little chance for an unhooked applicant with those scores.

It is not well-represented. I am from a rural community in VA bordering West Virginia, and we never had anyone even apply to Dartmouth.

There is still a chance. It is indeed possible, although not terribly likely. I think you certainly have a chance of acceptance if the rest of your profile is strong (i.e., the subjective aspects) and you are from an underrepresented rural community. My guess would be deferred ED, but it's hard to say.

I agree that you have a chance, especially given your location. Not a "probable," perhaps, but definitely a possible.

How are your SATIIs? Do you have any AP scores?

would a 670 be too low for an SATII?
