I just received a mail from a person who wants to interview me.

I think I should definitely say yes and tell them who I am.


How do they pick whom to interview and whom to not?

If you're an international, it could be good, could be bad. If you're non-international, it means absolutely nothing.

The admissions office has a policy of only offering interviews to international candidates who it deems necessary, sometimes because there are questions which need to be cleared up about the application.
