It came at 5:30ish EST, but I was only able to receive it around 7:30. I honestly didn't expect it.

they call different people on different days (if they're doing it like last year)

do they only call people who make it to the second round, or do they call everyone?

I'm nervous...

I think they only call the people they accept - the rest have to wait for a rejection in the mail. At this point it's looking like I'm with the latter group...

hello! i also got a phone call from the deep springs. btw i am an international applicant from korea so i can't go to the actual campus.. are there any internationals?

usually about 40. They asked me if I still planned on completely round two, so of these 40, I think that most are going to complete the application.

To all you guys who didn't get phone calls - don't loose hope! I just got a thin manilla-sized envelope in the mail today with the second round application and never recieved a phone call. Anyways, I hope to see some of you @ DS in a month or two, but until then take it easy...
