I truly doubt anyone who is smart enough and unique enough to look at Dep springs reads Megan McCafferty but in her new book Charmed Thirds she talks about a boy going to a college called "Pure Springs" which is in Death Valley near the cali-Nevada border. it's an all mens school for 2 years that accepts 15 in the book. just though it was interesting

see, I reaaally love the whole series...really obsessed with the characters...I love the genre =P.

Anyways, I read the book wayy long ago, when it came out, and I just read up on the school about a week or two ago. The first thing that popped into my head was "MARCUS FLUTIE!" haha! That's so cute how she based it on this College. Ahhh, I do love Megan McCaf.
