Artsy kids?

We just returned from Denison's overnight for accepted students. D felt students were predominately preppy. I'm thinking given the fact they have a BFA degree, homestead living opportunity, and film studies there must be an artsy community on campus. Any thoughts?

Yes, I think there is some artsy people there. my dd is a senior. Just went to the Awards Convocation and 3 or 4 of the President Medal winners were "artsy" -- recognized for theater, art, music ....
My dd has several good friends in the theater department. Some famous recent alums : Jennifer Garner and Steve Carrell.

One of my friends is going to Denison, he's a huge theater and music nerd. I guess you could say he's kind of preppy, but he's not stuck up or status conscious.
