Chance me please :)

If I have a good chance I will send in the application right now, but if I don't my parents said I can't waste their money. Unfortunately, I just realized Denison would be a good match for me. If I had realized earlier, I would have applied early decision.

I'd say you are a fair match. Especially being an outta stater. Your SAT's are a bit low, but they look at the whole package, it seems. (and btw, by saying that, I'm not suggesting that this is the deal maker-breaker ... as you may know, DU no longer requires SAT/ACTs either.) btw, they wave the app fee if you've visited, I believe. If not, just let them know that's an issue and see what they say. Work with your specific admissions rep. Your challenging schedule and ECs show alot of balance and diversity of interests. It seems to me that DU LOOKS for students like you who can grow academically, intellectually while contributing to the campus life. Were I working in the admissions office, I'd give you a definite encouraging "thumbs up." If you're really persuaded it's a strong possibility for you, the 40 bucks is pocket change. As a parent, I'll concur to "painful pocket change" though. You're good to be respectful of the hands that have fed you ...and will likely pay a ton of tuition, too. Love 'em to death, just like they do you.

Where else are you looking? I note PSU-U Park. You're definitely low there, where scores are the game. Dudes like you are a dime a dozen. You'd no doubt get shipped to Altoona or Erie or DuBois.

There's no application fee if you apply online, so you might as well.

It'd really help if you could visit. I think admissions likes that and you'd get a good sense of the school. I think you look impressive.

I think your a fair match. Your stats are right about average but the acceptance rates are below 50%. Your ECs are strong. You should try.
