Recent short visit

We decided to stop in Carlisle to take a second look at the campus, while en route to somewhere else. S and husband had did an admission visit and tour a few months ago.
The campus is just gorgeous! As we were looking at a map to get our bearings and man and women approached us asking if we needed any directions. They introduced themselves as the Dean of Admissions and the Athletic Director. The AD noticed my sons swim team t-shirt and immediately said" Hey we always need more swimmers".
It was a nice encounter and it was good for s to get a second look.

I forgot to mention, if you are visiting Dickinson and want to lunch off campus try The Backdoor Cafe. It is on the main drag only about a block off campus. They have great salads and wraps and soups in a quirky space.

Dickinson is one of the friendliest colleges we ever visited (maybe tied with Elizabethtown). President Durden is often seen walking around campus and will stop to chat with students and prospective students. Every person in every office we had contact with was helpful and friendly, from admissions and financial aid to the bookstore and cafeteria! My D had a wonderful 4 years there!
