Drew Early Action

My d sent all of her material in on the apply to Drew now special app and was supposed to hear by December 8. When I went on her status site it said they had not received either of her recs which I mailed myself. I guess it could be wrong, but has anyone received an acceptancde letter and/or had the same problem?

That's strange. If she sent in the priority app, chances are that she should have heard from them by now. (They sent out decisions in the form of an e-mail on Friday and in that e-mail it said that the official decision letters would be mailed out next week). I would call the school on Monday and check with them to make sure that they got the recs.

I think that is a good idea. My son did the early app last year, he got an email but it was wrong, they said he did early decision instead of early action, but quickly sent a new one. The paper acceptance came about a week later. A few students said they didn't hear and were accepted. These things seem to happen every year to some degree with the amount of paperwork they do, but it can be frustrating. A call should put your mind at ease. The office was always friendly.
We later had some problems with "lost paperwork". We learned to send important things priority mail if possible, make many copies. Even then, after faxing and mailing his health info, it got lost, but we had it when we brought him to orientation "just in case". You learn...

I have the same problem! I applied early and they still haven't sent me anything! I finished my application before the deadline too!
