Chances For A High School Junior

High School Junior
Estimated 3.3 unweighted GPA
25% class rank
1330/1920 SAT
I had a bad freshman year, but I've gotten better.
I took An "Accelerated" class freshman year, took honors chemistry last year, and I'm taking AP Biology this year.
Worked as an umpire freshman year.
Volunteered to help coach my little sister's softball team the summer after freshman year, and I logged 24 hours.
Taken private drum lessons and had a band for almost two years now.
Started the political science club at my school this year.
Played intramural basketball every year.
Worked from May 2008-October 2008 at a grocery store (15-20+ hours per week).
Connecticut resident.

Hi jhudak17.

It seems like once people made their decisions they decided to stop thinking about college for awhile; since lots of the student discussions have gone quiet. And who can blame them?
SO I'll take a shot at answering your question...I think you have a good shot at Drew. Your GPA is a little below the mean for this year's crop of freshman. But remember, by definition "mean" suggests that there were several people above and several people below that point. Your SATs look good . Drew doesn't require them any more, but I'd consider sending them. (Ask your GC.) Your ECs look good as well.

Have you visited campus yet?
