Well I have a 4, 800 Chem, 800 Math II/SAT. Took chemistry my junior year, I think I am going with Chem 22L, gonna avoid the freshmen orgo and Tonne's Chem 23L.
Good, bad, okay?
And for premed, I would be doing Chem 19, Chem 22L, Chem 151L, Chem 152L, right? Additionally, there is a high chance that I would want to tansfer from a BME to Chem.
Yeah, don't take 23. Either take 22 for review or go straight into orgo.
Chem starts with 21L and 22L, then 151L and 152L. That's all that's required for pre-med, although if you're a chem major, you get to have fun with physical chem and all that good stuff. However, if you're going to start in 22L, that's only 3 semesters of chem, so you'll have to take biochemistry or something in your junior or senior year.
See how many Chemistry courses you need. If you got a 5 on the AP test, you honestly should take 151 because you've clearly mastered (or shown great skill in) the subject thus far. If not and you feel you need more preparation, then Chem 23 is a good option as well. It is more challenging, but taking on challenges is why you got here in the first place, right?
