Help!

Does it matter for a BME/ Pre-med whether or not I take Writing the first or second semester? I'm enrolled in everything but a writing class or a seminar since all the ones I picked filled up.

Greek Literature with Wolkow and Gender and Sports seminars are the only ones that seem to fit!

I thought Pratt assigns a semester for you to register? What does the registration guide on ACES say for you?

Well I'm in Trinity right now, but I'm going to transfer into Pratt to do BME, so I'm just following the BME major course plan for pre-med students I got off of the Pratt website.

You know as a BME you don't need a seminar right? Oh and it really doesn't matter which semester you take writing.

if you are in trinity right now and u r planning to switch into pratt, you actually would need to take the first-year seminar requirement. I really don't think it matter what semester you take writing, they sort of divided up the freshman class kind of arbitrarily so that it is balanced.

Although if you are currently in trinity right now, you should be taking the first year seminar class the semester you are not taking the writing class. I think that's recommended.

SirGecko: No, I didn't know that. I guess I just assumed that the seminar qualified as a Humanities or Social Science elective, which it quite possibly could I guess.

I ended up being able to play with my schedule and get into "Many Goals of Science Writing". I hope I like the class. Nothing else fit or wasn't already filled from the first session.

Thanks! :]
