I can't stress enough that you should seriously consider getting most of this stuff yourself. You would save money and get higher quality for some of this stuff. (like sheets and such)
I would agree with Sir Gecko, but the only thing you might want to buy is laptops because they come with the four year warranty which in some cases can be invaluable provided you don't buy a mac which has only three years warranty.
I would advise looking at the specs on the laptops carefully. With the recent release of the Montevina platform, it is possible that TAP computers could be out of date.

I think if I typed a response to this thread, it would look like SirGecko's... word for word. I got my laptop (HP Pavilion DV5237 cl) for $999 and it is much, much nicer than any laptop I saw from the Duke Store at a higher price.
