Should I drop AP Physics?

I've already been accepted into Duke by early decision back in December. But this second semester, AP Physics is raping me. I'm on pace for a C/C-, doubt I can bump it up to a B. Would dropping this one class be grounds for revoking admission, and likewise, how would staying and getting a C affect my current admissions status?

BTW, on Duke's final admission report, it specifically says all students who receive a C in the final semester will have their applications re-evaluated and require a counselor explanation, which scares the **** out of me.

no idea, but we just got into torque and rotational momentum and this stuff is tough!!!!! the motion stuff is all really easy. this course she be restricted to just that easy stuff!

Jvhowube, are you in just a mechanics class? My AP Physics did that months ago and we're on E&M with circuits and resistors now.
I will admit though, I still don't fully understand rotational momentum and never have. lol

I tired dropping Physics just before the mid year and mu guidance counselor said it was horrible idea and rejected it right off the bat. So if your already in i would just stick it out like me.

Wow, I could actually do the rotational motion stuff, but the circuits is killing me! There are so many things that are similar that are hard to keep straight...when you invert capcitors and when you invert resistors to find the totals and all.....AUGH!

Call the admissions department and ask. This dilemma is too specific and too important to settle via internet discussion.

I agree. I hate circuits, especially with capacitors too. I had an A+ for the first 2 terms, but right now I have a D avg. because of circuits.

Don't drop the class. That would look worse than getting a C.
