How Many Have Been Accepted Off The Waitlist?

It seems a lot of colleges have been taking a lot of people off the wait-list.
Anyone know the number for Duke yet?

Seems like a pretty high number. Around a dozen have been taken on CC alone, so I'm guessing around 100.

not necessarily. i think they send letters out in batches based on how many they have enrolled and how many they want.

I was accepted last week. They said that they would send me my formal acceptance packet sometime this week.

Just got in (got the call) ~an hour ago. They'll priority mail the packet tomorrow, apparently.

I got in off the waitlist. I got a call on the last day of April. I'll be coming to Duke next year!

I am guessing a lot. 3 from my school, 4 people I know in total. All the way from the best student (last day of april) to school "retard" this week.

I was actually under the impression that Duke was going to have a higher yield this year than '11 but it looks like they are going to be using the wait-list more.
However, I guess Duke is preparing for a lot of people going to HYPSM (off waitlist)
