| you can request roommates on the form itself when you have to fill it out. just make sure you know their unique id and student id.
class registration is NOT that confusing. you have to take one writing course and (if in trinity) one seminar course your freshman year. when you log onto aces, it will tell you which you're supposed to take. you go through the catalog, choose the classes from the departments you want and click "alt" or whatever to add it to your alternate bookbag. once you have your 4 classes (one of them a seminar or writing class!), you move it all up to your primary bookbag by clicking the little up arrow button, and then hit "enroll all" when it's your registration window. and make sure you're at your computer ready to enroll when your registration window opens!!
and i've heard preorientation is REALLY fun. i didn't do any of them though and that didn't hurt my "friend making ability" or anything though. just do it if you want a good time. |
