Networking....

How is Duke's networking system? Are Duke alums basically set for life or must they fend for themselves in a world that does not appreciate them. I know Duke has GREAT grad school placement, but how well off are Dukies really?

Dude, what do you think that by going to Duke you are set for life. Of course Duke has great alumni connections. However, you still gotta produce the good if you know what I mean and get the good grades and go to a top grad school. Carrying a bachelors from a school these days doesn't do that much unless if its engineering or undergrad business. Good luck at Duke and have a great time there

Thanks.

BTW, if you dont mind me asking...where are you going to school? You seemed extremely informed about colleges and I bet you are going to somewhere great, aren't you?
