heyy pplez. just wondering how many pple out there were waitlisted by duke. it'd be freaking AWESOME if i got it off waitlist. though i'm not investing too much hope cuz the possibility is so small. i read that their admissions committee accepted almost 4000 to fill up 1660 spots. wow thinking of that i'm not getting in.

so post if you've been waitlisted. or if you've heard of anyone who's been or even better if they got accepted! though that's not particularly better for me.. but i'll be happy for them

i have a friend who was waitlisted... she hasn't heard back, but she committed to another school so i'm not sure if she has / is sending duke a letter about that.

if you havent heard, then you probably havent gotten in. only ten people got off and they already contacted them.

sure.... i myself was on the waitlist and i got off of it, they called me on may 12th and told me this. they said there were 10 spots open and that they were calling all of those people that day. i guess there might still be a chance of getting in if one or more of those people didnt accept their place, though
