Class of 2009 waitlist is officially closed.
I got a letter today that said that Duke is unable to offer space to any additional students...so that's that. Although it was a form letter, I thought it was very considerate and nicely written.

Two waitlists down, one more to go for me.

Yeah I got it too, and I'm not too bummed because Duke vs. Swarthmore would have been such a tough choice for me this late in the game. I agree though, it was nicely written and didn't make me totally hate the school...

My daughter got the letter yesterday. She was briefly disappointed, but moving on. Does anybody know whether it's true that there were only 10 waitlist spots?
