Admission to the Environment School?

Is anything "special" needed to get admission to the environmental school, or is it just like applying to Trinity like normal?

If you want to go for a BS. or BA in environmental science, you apply to trinity.

So I have to go through Trinity right?
Do they care about my intended major and fit and such? Or is is just like "applying to Trinity"?

Yeah you have to go through Trinity. If you go to Pratt, then you will be doing environmental engineering which is not part of Nicholas School
Like other schools, when you apply to Duke, when you tell them that ___ is your possible major, they don't care much about it since they know you might change that. So it's more of applying and making your application look great and stand out. You want to make them think that you are a good fit at Duke.

Alternatively, if you wanted to double-major in both Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering, you'd go to Pratt (either by applying into it or by transferring from Trinity (which is really just a formality)). Pratt students can pick up Trinity (or in this case, Nicholas) majors as secondary majors, but you have to be in Pratt to have any engineering major.
