When do EA applicants generally hear from Earlham about its decision?

Both my daughters applied EA to Earlham (one last year and one the year before) and they both heard very close to Feb. 1

The post was actually for a friend who is driving us nuts.

He just got his acceptance letter. He's excited. At last, some peace and quite, at least until award letters come out.
