I would say your chances are good. I would advise you to apply right away. This year's freshman class is the largest in ECU history and they may be looking to limit class size next year. ECU is a rolling admit school so the earlier you apply, the earlier you will get a decision. My S applied the first week of Oct. last year and got his acceptance letter in the first week of Nov.

I would like to get on campus but I hear that all of the dorms are full. I would just like a roommate more than anything (girl preferably).

Getting on campus from Spring may be tough. The freshman class is so large this year that 200 freshman started off in off campus apts. Two of s's friends started off that way but have now gotten rooms on campus.

There is a privately owned student apt. building right on the edge of campus. It's called Campus Towers. You could try them. It is literally right by the West end dorms.

Also in Greenville is University Suites. They are 3 and 4 br/bthroom apts. They will set you up with rommates if they have an apt. with space to be filled.

I believe North Campus Crossing works the same way. It is a huge student apt. complex.
S also tells me that the Copper Beech apts. and The Bellamy apts are very nice.

ECU student transit bus runs to all of these complexes.
Good Luck.

Thanks a bunch! Hey, you wouldn't happen to know anything about applying for the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences, would you? I know you have to apply to the school of music. My friend had to. I'm just not sure if I need to apply to THC...???

I think it depends on what your major is. I know prospective music majors have to audition. Don't know about the rest. You can prob. find it on the ECU website somewhere or find a number to call and ask. I have called and asked lots of questions in the past year and they have always been nice and helpful.
