Has anyone seen any reviews on Eckerd in anything besides the Loren Pope books? I have found some stale reviews on line and they are very mixed.

We will head down later this month to see for ourselves... but we are trying to get an idea ahead of time.

There's a "review" in Fiske Guide to Colleges. We're headed to Eckerd this week, and will have a better idea after our trip.

Thanks! We are heading down for the weekend of the 19th...and are very excited. We are from New England and Eckered is a school that we are very interested in. We have a friend who's son graduated from there a few years ago. He transferred from Univ. of Vermont. He loved every minute and he is now in grad school. Since his graduation, the school has built many new facilities. Have a great trip and please post your thoughts. This was a safety school for my son but it has moved into first place due to the unique academic programs and opportunites and spectacular location. I think this school is an underrated gem.
