| My S is anxiously waiting (as am I). The admissions office said that the letters were going in the mail today. They told him that the MT department was going to be informing folks by mail, and that a phone call was not likely. |

| G Beach, I don't know why they say things like that! Maybe they just don't know in admissions what the performing arts department is doing! But I have 3 friends (2 guys and 1 girl) who were all called this past weekend. I hope though, that they haven't made all the calls yet and that your son still gets one! |

| Kimberly Rippy, the audition cooridnator, told me on Friday afternoon (late) that they were mailing letters today (March 17) and that they were probably not going to do phone calls this year. That's in the "for what it's worth" category. I hope it's not all phone calls over the weekend because my son did not get one. Good luck to all! |

| We are in the same boat. My S looked at his status online, and it was written in a way that made him think he was in the program. He called Cathey McNeela, but she did not answer. As it stands, he is in the school but not the program. |

| How you will be Notified OK, all I can tell you is the following:
My D was accepted to Elon Early Decision on December 1. That is for academics only. She auditioned on October 26th (the rainy day audition.)
She attended the Elon Orientation for New students on March 14 and 15.
We stopped over on Friday March 15th to say hello at the PERFORMING ARTS building to see if anyone could give us info. They were in the throes of no less than 58 auditions, which apparently went until 10:45 that night. Cathy McNeela informed people that afternoon in the parent informatiion session at Yaeger Recital Hall that she likes to call EVERY person who is admitted to her program.
HOWEVER, Cathy was leaving at 8 am Saturday morning to go to New York for 4 days where she was going to interview/film 12 Elon alumni who are currently on Broadway.
My D received her call from Cathy McNeela that night at 11 PM with an acceptance. It sounded to my D that she was calling in her car on the way to the airport.
I seriously doubt that she has had the time/energy to call 20 some odd students while busy in New York.
I think every person waiting for a call should keep their hopes up--at least until the end of this week.
Someone told us that 250 rejection letters were mailed out last week. These would not include students who auditioned on Friday, obviously.
Hope this helps. I am crossing my fingers for all of you!!

| My daughter was thrilled to get a call from Cathy McNeela last night with an acceptance into the MT program! And as we've all heard, it appears there were a couple of other phone calls made to accepted students last night. However, it appears there is still room for a bunch more, so don't give up hope! |

| ElonMom - Lake Forest is in South Orange County, about 30 minutes from the ocean and 90 minutes from LA. Though, I attend CSUFullerton (in fact I am there right now, in costuming class)
Where in CA are you??? |

| My S just received a call from Cathy McNeela. She is in the airport trying to get in as many calls as she can before she departs. So keep your fingers crossed! I will say a prayer for all the kids. |
