Hal Prince at Elon!

Harold "Hal" Prince, highly esteemed Broadway director and producer, visited Elon on Thursday, April 10th to speak to students and receive an honorary doctor of humane letters during our Spring Convocation for Honors. The entire Music Theater department was given the opportunity to perform "Masquerade" from Phantom of the Opera, "Somewhere" from West Side Story, "I Got Rhythm" from Crazy for You and the world premiere of Jason Robert Brown's "A Little More Homework" for Mr. Prince at the ceremony. I have attached a news story published on the Elon University web site that includes some really great video footage and a stunning photo gallery. Please take a look if you get the chance!

E-net! News And Information

Thanks!!!

Hal Prince!!!

YES! Please go to the link and see the footage captured for this wonderful convocation. It was an absolutely splendid event!
Elon's convocation this year was especially special because it celebrated Elon's excellence in Performing Arts! Let us know if you have any questions!
Affectionately,
John
