I saw the show last night...definitely a nontraditional approach which made it fun to watch! Great job!

I enjoyed those pictures and agree about the costumes and sets and lighting. I really enjoy and admire when I see something that involves a lot of creativity and that doesn't follow a formula so to speak and so I am in awe of what appears to be a very creative take on a familiar play.

Marvelous! We saw the set at orientation last week, but couldn't figure out how the 70s setting was going to work. The lighting and costumes really bring it alive. Wow!

Kaysmom, was it musical at all? It looks as if there was some dancing and possibly singing from the photos. I'll have to make sure my d got a chance to see it. I'm sure she'll be wishing she was in it the whole time she watches it!

The show was fabulous and was set in the 60s. They had a band (made up of all students but one - the lead being a very talented MT student) up high on a bandstand that played 60s music and sang periodically throughout the show. During that singing, quite often there was dancing or other movement. There was also music with each scene change. I could have been happy just listening to that great band playing old familiar music.

The main characters were mostly acting majors, but the few MT students in the show were wonderful!

We really enjoyed the show which was very funny and entertaining. It was quite a different take on Shakespeare than the more traditional version of the same show that I saw last summer. I'd pick this very creative "hippy" version any day!
