| Echoing my 2 good friends above - many good wishes for good news to come to you soon from Elon. I assume that they will let everyone know about decisions in the next couple of weeks. My, how time has flown! I can't believe it's already March.
We went to Elon to see senior project show, The Full Monty, last weekend. It was a wonderful show - completely student produced, directed, etc. We were most impressed with the quality of the performance and had a blast seeing it. |

| At the audition I believe they said they send the letters, and indicated that it would be a couple fo weeks after the last audition. She also said they do like to make a personal call the day the letters go out. The call we got was on Tuesday after the last auditions which was earlier than would have been indicated, so we might have gotten an early pick. I wouldn't want to keep hope alive unnecessarily, but it's certainly possible they haven't made all their final choices yet. Only 3 posted on here this week. I seem to recall some posting from December January that looked like they had called a handful of peole right after the Fall audition. |

| ... Got an acceptance to Elon this week! Does anyone know if they notify you about scholarships when they send you the confirmation or is there a later date for the scholarship awards? |

| I'm not sure if there are current students of Elon that respond to these threads but I figure I will give it a try. I don't think I will be able to visit Elon again before freshman orientation this summer so I have been looking at the residence halls online. I really like Virginia Hall but mainly Moffitt Hall, because it seems in the pictures that there is only one person to a room. Is that the case? I want to know what most hall students prefer most! Thank you!

| Hello Vincenzo,
My mom asked me to answer this for you. I am home on Spring break and I am currently a Freshman at Elon (MT).
First of all,Moffit Hall is not single rooms unless you specify a single (I think). Elon is in the process of adding new dorms and new things but as a Freshman you probably will be assinged on of the older dorms. I live in Staley this year which is located next to Moffit. Moffit is suite style so you share you room with your room mate and your bathroom with suitemates. The bonus of living in Moffit is they live above a dining hall and you don't have to walk far and it close to the most beautiful lake andthe performing arts building. Virginia Hall is a learning community on all three floors (I believe) Everyone that I know who currently lives there really like it. The first floor is performing arts and the third floor is Honors.
As far as other dorms you may want to consider, I would say - Sloan is as big as Virginia but you don't need to be in a learning community to live there.
It is hard for Freshman to get in there but it is possible. I've heard that Hook,Brannick and Barney are pretty big and nice but further from the Arts building. Smith is an all boys dorm (crazy but nice).
I hope this helps a little but you may want to hear from other students as well. If you would like to talk to me further you can pm my mom and she will give you my number and facebook link (by the way, make sure you get a facebook and friend me asap). I also have a myspace.
Good luck and I look forward to meeting you.
