| Lexismom I think we will have to wait until this year's incoming class to get an average on the new SAT scores. Our admission's deadline was January 10th and they started the new SAT in February. |

| Chicago Auditions? Do you think there is any possible hope that Elon would eventually hold auditions in Chicago? In the somewhat near future? |

From all info we have, Elon does not do any off campus auditions. It seems that most schools do try to consider certain exceptions for certain audition/admission requirements. How far they can go on this is the big question. It can't hurt to contact the school and confirm their stance. |

| Off-Campus Auditions We will not be conducting off campus auditions any time in the near future. The faculty feel that it is good for the student to see the campus and the department to make an informed decision about whether or not Elon is a good match for them. They also require a full faculty decision on the students accepted to the program, rather than one faculty member at unifieds. |

| I got accepted to be a musical theatre major in this year's freshman class at Elon. I was seriously considering it, but I decided on the University of Central Florida instead. UCF seems like an amazing program, and I'm so excited to start classes. I chose UCF over Elon because UCF seemed to have more to offer. It is backed by Disney World, and there are a lot of opportunities through that and through going to school and being affiliated with such a big city. There is a ton of entertainment in Orlando, and I thought that it would make more sense to be around all of that. UCF is not nationally known yet, but it definitely will be very very soon. Their shows are really amazing and their sets and costumes are top quality. This program deserves wayyy more credit than it gets, but I think the big thing is that it isn't very well known yet. I heard about UCF from the producer of a well known regional theatre (I live in NY), who said it was a really great program, and their kids always stand out and are really prepared at auditions. He convinced me to go here, and he keeps assuring me that I made the right choice and that they're going to prepare me really well! He's seen people from tons of different programs so I know that he knows what he's talking about!! He also said that their acting program is the top in the south, and their musical theatre program is great and on its way up! They also have amazing faculty credentials. Plus, the FL weather doesn't hurt!! Wow, I sound like a commercial for UCF!! Seriously check it out though it's a great musical theatre program. http://theatre.ucf.edu |

| Web site for Elon Hello everyone,
For the past two days I have been trying to log on to Elon's Performing Arts web site and it is not coming up. I can get on their main site but I needed to check a few things out and I can't get into the M.T. program. Is anyone else having trouble or is it just me? D has audition on 9/2 and I really need to log on. Any advise?

| Lexismom,
Wife and D will also be there on 9/2, is your d dancing or the 2 vocal numbers? We decided on the 2 vocals and hoping for the best. Elon is rapidly gaining the recognition it deserves and D is psyched! |

| Elon 9/2 Nocodad,
I will look for your wife and daughter (private message me). D is doing 2 vocals. Had dance background, however, stronger in voice.
